The inverter, also known as an inverter, performs important tasks in a photovoltaic system, on which its proper operation will depend. The main one is to convert the direct current (DC) generated by the PV modules into alternating current (AC) of 230V (for a single-phase system) or 230/400V (for a three-phase system), which powers the electrical appliances in your home.
MUST’s new-generation inverters ensure long-lasting and efficient operation of photovoltaic systems.
Inverters are divided into:
- On-grid inverters: these are inverters that work with the power grid by sending the excess electricity produced by PV modules to the grid. Check out our PH 5900 series and PM series inverters for balcony installations
- Off-grid inverters: these are inverters that work in conjunction with an energy storage facility to store surplus power in the facility
- Hybrid inverters: are inverters that work with both on-grid and off-grid installations. Check out our PH 1100 PRO and PH 1100 EU series inverters
- You are a RES installer, or maybe you sell renewable energy related equipment and want to expand your offerings to include
Other tasks of inverters include recording data such as the amount of energy produced or the amount of excess energy returned to the grid or stored in energy storage.
In addition, MUST inverters have features such as:
- PV arc fault detection
- Protection against reverse polarity of the input PV string
- Insulation resistor detection
- Residual current monitoring
- Output overcurrent protection
- Output short circuit protection
- Optimization of PV system operation through built-in charge controllers - MPPT (they allow to increase the efficiency of the system by up to 20%)
